What is a QR code review link?

A QR code review link is a printed code that opens a business's review page directly on the scanner's phone. It is used on receipts, table cards, counters and vehicles to collect reviews from walk-in customers whose phone number or email the business never captured.

It solves a specific gap. A messaged review request needs a contact detail, and a large share of walk-in trade never leaves one. A code on the counter reaches exactly those people, at the moment they are still standing there.

Placement decides whether it works. A code where someone is already waiting, at the till or on the table, gets scanned. The same code on a door that people walk through does not.

A business with no counter has the opposite problem. A plumber finishes at somebody's house, there is nothing to print a code on, and the moment worth using is the job being closed in whatever software the crew works from. Products built for the trades wire the request to that event, which is ground the NiceJob alternative page hands to them: Rumore triggers off bookings and appointments and has nothing equivalent for a field job.
