# Social media management when nobody has time for it

Rumore writes your Facebook and Instagram posts in the voice of your own business, whenever you ask for them. Every post waits for you to approve it, unless you switch that off yourself. Comments on your posts collect on the same screen, where one tap drafts the reply for you.

Most small business social media pages die the same way. Six weeks of posts, then nothing, and the newest one is from March. Anyone who finds it reads it as a business that might have closed.

Writing one post is easy. Writing one every week, at nine at night, with a delivery to sort out in the morning, is the part that falls over. Editing is easier than starting. If a draft is already sitting there and you want it to say Thursday instead of this week, that is ten seconds and it goes out.

Drafts come out of your Location Profile, so they can mention the thing you actually sell rather than the category you are in. Ask for a week of posts in one sentence and you get up to seven, each scheduled for the day you picked. If you want this weighed against a full marketing suite, the [Birdeye alternative](https://www.rumore.ai/compare/birdeye-alternative) page does that, including where the suite wins.

Tools sold on getting you more reviews usually stop at the review. NiceJob pushes your best reviews to social, which is useful, and it is not the same job as writing Thursday's post about the shop. The [NiceJob alternative](https://www.rumore.ai/compare/nicejob-alternative) page lists what each subscription includes.

## How it works

1. **It writes the way you talk**
The words come from your Location Profile: what you sell, how you describe it, what you are known for. That is why a draft can mention the Tuesday roast rather than your delicious food.
2. **You ask, it drafts**
One post from the composer, or up to seven in a sentence to Ask, each scheduled for the day you name. Either way the job is reading something rather than writing it.
3. **Nothing goes out until you say so**
Social posts are Approve-first out of the box. Autopilot is there if you want it, but you turn it on yourself. It never arrives switched on.
4. **Comments sit next to the post**
Someone asking a question under your photo is a customer, so the comment goes into a queue on the Social screen, and one tap drafts the reply from the same Location Profile. It stays out of the message inbox, which is for private conversations.

## Questions

### Will Rumore post without asking me?

Not unless you tell it to. Posts are drafted and held for you. If you would rather the page kept moving without you, you can switch social over to Autopilot, and that is a switch you flip yourself.

### Which networks does it publish to?

Facebook Pages and Instagram. Not X, LinkedIn, TikTok or Pinterest. Those are gaps, and we would rather you read that here than find it out a week after you sign up.

### Does everyone get the same posts?

No. Drafts are written from your Location Profile, so a café and a physio clinic get different posts. What you will not get is the same content calendar as everyone else with the nouns swapped.

### What happens to comments and replies?

They queue up on the Social screen next to the post that caused them, and one tap drafts the reply from the same Location Profile. They stay out of the message inbox on purpose. A comment is answered in public, where everyone scrolling past reads it, which is a different job from answering a private message.

- [AI Employee](https://www.rumore.ai/features/ai-employee): The AI Employee is the part of Rumore that does the writing. It answers customers from your Location Profile, drafts review replies and social posts, and speaks whatever language it was written to in. Each capability has its own dial: some it handles alone, and the ones that carry consequences it drafts and leaves for you.
- [Unified inbox](https://www.rumore.ai/features/unified-inbox): The unified inbox puts WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, email and your website chat widget into a single thread list. A conversation carries the same contact history whichever channel it arrived on, and a reply written in Rumore goes back out on the channel the customer actually used.
